Great location for the beach and restaurants/shops. Is up a side lane but easy to access by foot. Good air con and friendly dog!
Bathroom was not great but functional, did have good water pressure and hot water though.

The property was up a lovely trail, slightly off the beaten track, meaning it was incredibly quiet and private. The hosts were very welcoming, messaging me from the morning of check in to make sure we were arriving safely whilst giving advice of best forms of transport to take. The room was clean with a comfy bed and plenty of storage space, with efficient air conditioning and an overhead fan suitable for all temperature preferences. Standard bathroom facilities with towels provided. Breakfast offered in the morning for a reasonable fee. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

The room is very spacious with lots of shelving to unpack on. The bed was very large, comfortable and well netted. The room had both a fan and aircon. The shower was warm and powerful. It is located only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. What’s not to like for the great price? We’d definitely stay again if returning to Unawatuna.

Location close to beach (although in a narrow street , it is actually very close to the beach). Very big and spacious room with enough space to store luggage. Clean. Comfortable. Nice staff. Beautiful garden and a friendly dog. Good shower. Very cheap price for what you get. Overall I was very satisfied for the room regarding this price.
It can get a bit suffocating in the room because it's dark and the windows are not to be opened (as I understand at least). The bathroom gets really wet after shower and it's hard to dry. Outside the property its full of garbage and feels unhealthy and unhygienic but it's not the property's fault (although it would really help the image of the property if they cleaned it).
The cons were not so important for me but they can matter for someone else.
