The location was in a nice place which was spacious. The room, pool, restaurant and park was very accessible and fairly spacious. The restaurant was very accessible and the food was very good and with many varieties. The parking space was very spacious and well placed.
Space inside the room was a bit congested.

The pool is just 5–10 steps away from your room, so if your main goal is to enjoy the pool, this place is perfect.
Since they have their own restaurant, it's very convenient to grab a meal without having to go elsewhere, and the prices are quite reasonable.
There are also a few small rides for kids to enjoy, along with a nearby park and their own theatre.
Pool: They do have a filter, but I'm not sure whether they manualy clean the pool with a net to remove leaves and small insects. My kids were bitten by small insects while in the pool.

I stayed at Royal Empire Resort with a group of 15 on 29/8/26. The property itself is good, with a pleasant ambience, well-maintained rooms, excellent bathrooms, a good swimming pool, and a few activities to enjoy. The boating facility adjacent to the resort is also a definite plus. The front office staff were extremely supportive.
Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was a major disappointment and significantly affected our overall impression of the resort.
The attitude of the restaurant staff, particularly the Malayali lady staff member, was extremely unpleasant. The way complimentary breakfast was handled gave us the feeling that serving the guests was being treated as a favour rather than a basic part of the hospitality service. Even when guests specifically requested refilling of food items, the response was far from satisfactory.
