The villa itself is great with all necessary amenities, including washing machine and dishwasher. The pool is a great addition for kids or adults alike.
The downstairs apartment at pool level consists of a single room with alcove for queen bed as well as sofa that guests could sleep on. There is a bathroom and kitchenette. The separate upstairs apartment has three bedrooms - one with en suite bathroom. There’s a separate bigger bathroom. The rooftop has a seating area and limited ocean view. Otherwise, no view of the ocean. Good parking for 2-3 cars.
Afionas is a great location. Small grocery store and several restaurants are all in walking distance. Our favorite restaurant was Panorama - great traditional food, super friendly and accommodating. Fantastic views.
This is more specific to Corfu - you have to drive a lot. While you could get to the local beaches by driving (or hiking) in 15 minutes, most other beaches or destinations take about an hour due to the winding roads and slow driving in general. Paleokastritsa beaches, Corfu town are both an about an hour away.
