This inviting 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation home offers the perfect blend of comfort, space, and scenic charm. The main level features an open-concept design with a wall of windows framing stunning lake views. The main level also includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. Upstairs, you’ll find another queen bedroom and a loft area that overlooks the great room and offers even more beautiful views of the lake. This room also has a comfy fold out bed for extra sleeping options. Wake up to the sunrise in the water. The walk-out lower level includes a third queen bedroom, a spacious family room with a large TV, Wii, and plenty of games, plus an additional full bathroom.
Outside, enjoy the lakefront lifestyle with your own private pier, two kayaks, canoe and rowboat for exploring the water, and a charcoal grill for cooking out. A public boat launch is located within 100 yards of the home, making it easy to get your boat in and out of the water.
McGinnis Lake is a 27-acre non motorized lake located in Adams County with a maximum depth of 28 feet. Visitors can enjoy fishing for Panfish and Largemouth Bass, and the lake’s moderately clear water makes it perfect for paddling, swimming, or simply relaxing by the shore.

Great rental for a larger group of people. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out over three floors. The basement space had lots of games in the dresser along with a Wii console. The circular driveway also allows multiple vehicles. The living room furniture was comfy. We made great use of the large deck and the fire pit. The rental agency also was quick to answer. We definitely would consider renting this unit again.

Loved the space, great for two families to enjoy. Enough room and places to have both privacy and ways to gather together. There could be a refreshing of supplies such as sponges for cleaning dishes, more kitchen rags, a new blender (the one available did not work) and upgrade the grill situation. Other than that everything was perfect and comfortable. I would also appreciate if there was laundry access, it can be a challenge if traveling with babies and kids who run through clothes like crazy or might need a refresher of bedding. We brought our own bedding for our baby and it was looking rough just after a couple days so a week stay would be difficult without laundry access.

We absolutely loved everything about the cottage! It was warm and cozy. We loved watching the snow thru the picture window. The couches was so comfy. At one point, everyone was enjoying reading their books or relaxing watching a movie all at the same time. Great place for families who want to spend time together or those who need their own personal space. We had 4 teens with us. We played games together as a family then they went down to the basement and did their own thing while the adults cozied by the fireplace. Perfect place to unwind after hitting the slopes all day. The roads were a little dicey with the ice storm, but that had nothing to do with the cottage. We already talked about going back again next year!

My friends and I all agree that this is in our list of top 5 places we’ve rented! We do a lot of these sort of get aways. The property was clean, the instructions were clear and we all wished we could stay longer. We will definitely come again!
