Set among the green hills just five minutes from San Ignacio, our private five-bedroom estate is a wonderful fit for families, friends and couples traveling together who want plenty of breathing room without losing that feeling of sharing the trip.

With five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, three kitchens, multiple living areas, expansive terraces, a private infinity pool, gym and outdoor kitchen, there’s a surprising amount of room to make yourself at home.

At the heart of Casa Grande is the Great Hall. Soaring timber ceilings rise above an impressive open living, dining and kitchen space with room for everyone around the table.
Breakfast turns into plans for the day, stories get exchanged after an adventure, games come out at night, and nobody has to squeeze into a corner to be part of it.

But being on vacation together doesn’t mean doing everything together.

The layout naturally creates different pockets throughout the estate. Early risers can make coffee without waking the whole house. Someone can curl up with a book while everyone else is by the pool. Different generations—or a few couples traveling together—can enjoy a little independence and still have the best parts of the day to share.

Outside, life moves easily onto the terraces. Grab a lounger beside the infinity pool, take in the surrounding Cayo hills or turn dinner into an event at the outdoor kitchen, complete with a gas grill, wood-fired pizza oven and plenty of room to dine outside.

And then there’s everything beyond the house.

San Ignacio is only about five minutes away, with some of western Belize’s most incredible adventures within easy reach—ATM Cave, Xunantunich, Mountain Pine Ridge, waterfalls, caves and ancient Maya sites.
Spend the day exploring—or decide the pool is as far as you’re going. Both are perfectly good plans around here.
And if you really want to slow things down, we can arrange a private chef to take care of dinner or an in-house spa therapist to come to you. Sleep in, book a massage, have someone else do the cooking and give yourselves permission to have nowhere else to be.

Casa Grande isn’t about putting everyone in five bedrooms and calling it a group vacation.

You’ll probably see Edgar, Casa Grande’s full-time caretaker, quietly working his magic around the property. He’s here daily tending to the grounds, taking care of garbage and keeping the pool and outdoor spaces looking beautiful. He knows the property inside and out, works discreetly and is very respectful of guests’ privacy.

If you’d rather have as little activity around the estate as possible, just tell us. We’ll always do our best to work around you.

Cayo Casa Grande is designed for relaxing, gathering and enjoying the property together.
A few important safety details will help everyone enjoy the estate comfortably:

Pool Safety:
The infinity pool is not fenced and there is no lifeguard on duty. Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool and surrounding terraces.

Gym:
Guests are welcome to enjoy the private gym. For safety, children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the gym and should not use equipment without appropriate adult supervision.

Game Tables:
Some of the game tables inside the villa have removable glass tops. Before using a table for games, please carefully remove the glass top and place it in the slider right under the tabletop. The glass is heavier than it may appear, so we recommend that adults handle it to prevent injury or damage.

Only registered guests are allowed on the property.

We simply ask that guests treat the home and its amenities with care and keep younger members of the group closely supervised around the pool, gym and other areas requiring additional attention.
