Fine for a short stay before airport

Not too far from station, cheap for one night before airport. Bedding was clean and fresh

Hadn’t been cleaned very well. Enough beds for 5 people but small bathroom only accessed through main bedroom would be inconvenient for longer stay.

Poor experience

I'm not actually reviewing this actual apartment as I didn't get to stay in it. I arrived to check in and was told that it was not available as a heating issue. I had been in touch 3 times prior to inform owner that this was a special weekend family celebration and wanted everything to run smoothly. I was not warned of any potential issues. I was offered an alternative in a different location with 2 bedrooms and no parking ( there were 6 of us with 3 cars???) . After sitting outside building in the cold for nearly 2 hours, I was finally offered an alternative in the same location with enough beds. I felt I had no choice but to accept as all my guests had arrived. The apartment was nowhere near as nice as one I booked ( no pool table, no dining table, no nice decor, no "advertised" terrace) It was damp and smelt of it, basic, the ceiling was collapsing in the hallway and were told not to use upstairs shower/basin as obviously leaking through ceiling. The overall experience was extremely disappointing and not what I had paid for. I have complained multiple times to the owner and asked for some compensation, but I have just gone around in circles with him for weeks. Apparently, the apartment I got was better than what I booked ?????? The other doesn't have a terrace even though he's advertising it has. He now can't even be bothered to call me back after he said he was going to. I am very disappointed with the whole experience and lack of customer service.
