I liked that there was a dsk and a mini sofa in my room. It had more space than most business hotels in Japan, though it is still small compared to other countries' hotel rooms. The biggest upside is, the hotel is near a lot of good restos and stations.
Cleaning is every 4 days. I would've liked my room cleaned everyday. Plus, there were some staff who were a little less friendly. Others would have a warm greeting when I come to and leave the hotel while others hada cold greeting or didn't greet at all.

The property was a great stay! Super affordable and awesome location. 7/11 is next door along with a few more 7/11 in walking distance. The location is walkable to many restaurants and nightlife. The room was very small, my partner 6’5 struggled a bit with length of bed but everything made up for it. Free amenities in the lobby and staff are super helpful.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and the shower was very comfortable and clean. The toilet seat was warm, and the lights in the room were soft and nice, the staff changed the towels for free daily! The location is quite close to the station.
Unfortunately, as soon as we walked into the room, an unpleasant smell was there. Like humidity or mold, very unpleasant. The room was quite small, but it had everything we needed. However, due to the smell, it was very uncomfortable to stay there.
I went immediately to the reception to explain the situation and try to get a new room. The staff was attentive and kind, and came with me to check the room. They offered me another room, but when I went to see it, unfortunately it smelled the same. The staff explained to me that it's the rainy season and that contributes to the rooms being smelly. I was a bit confused about this statement, because we had been in 3 other hotels in Japan and hadn't experienced it. In the room there was an air cleaner machine, which we tried to keep on as much as possible. It was useful, but it didn't help the situation to shift.
Furthermore, I chose this hotel because it is full of manga, and I thought it might be a nice opportunity to dive into Japanese culture. In the lobby it looks really pretty with these massive bookshelves, and each guest can take up to ten manga at a time. Unfortunately, everything is in Japanese! Not very international-friendly .
It would be nice if there could be a small English section too.
