Was really easy for the keys as were inside.
The main bedroom mattress was too firm for the couple who used it , but that's their preference to a bed, But all other beds were comfortable as

Plenty of space and set in a beautiful country setting. Fireplace for the cooler winter months and a ping pong table and trampoline outside if you have kids with you. Electric blankets on the beds was great on the chilly nights too. Very friendly and helpful host.

We had such a wonderful stay at Homestead Hideaway in Ohoka. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Emileen and Kevin, were so lovely, welcoming and made us feel right at home.
The accommodation was beautifully clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It really had that cosy, homely feeling that made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay.
We were also lucky enough to be treated to some fresh eggs and delicious homemade quince jam, which was such a thoughtful touch.
And of course, we can’t forget Bonnie! She was such a playful and friendly dog.
Thank you so much, Emileen and Kevin, for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay again and highly recommend Homestead Hideaway to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and genuinely welcoming place to stay.

It was set on a lifestyle block with animals all around. It was a peaceful oasis to return after visiting friends and of course shopping and meals out.
The owners were very welcoming there was eggs in the fridge, dry goods in the cupboards and we were even treated to scones with butter and quince jelly, just delicious. They have a border collie called Bonnie who entertained us with through the frisbee and I fetch it again and again. Such a well trained happy dog we loved her. We would definitely recommend this home to adults on their own or families it was just perfect.
