Bed is comfortable. Room is spacious.
No hot pads for the oven. No extra towels. Mold in the closet. Room was not ready at guaranteed check-in time. Had to wait an additional 45 minutes. One extra blanket for the sofa bed but no other blankets. We froze in the main bedroom while my daughter slept comfortably on the sofa. No where near the shower to hang towels.
It’s an awkward situation between the Zermatt Hotel and the Villas at Zermatt. Don’t count on the hotel to help you with anything if you need extra bedding or towels. They’ll just give you a nasty look and say “we don’t have anything to do with the Villas.” The only benefit of the being at Zermatt property was access to the pool. Which was freezing! And because the pool is so cold, everyone was crowded into the hot tub.
The resort itself is kinda kitschy with mediocre overpriced food, an ok bakery, and ok mini golf. Probably won’t stay here again.
