Spacious, good for family's, off street parking, great bakery close by, location was ideal for us

there was a hair dryer in the bathroom but no where to plug it in and no mirrors in the bedrooms, the dryer wasn't very efficient

The place was open as the cleaner was just finishing up

Lock on sliding door was difficult to lock. Shower water pressure was very low. Kitchen is quite small for 4 people or more. Heatpump at times was noisy/rattly.

Good communication and instructions before and after check in. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. In general the unit does feel clean inside.

It is a semidetached unit at the end of a long driveway. The exterior is very old and the complex looks run down. Probably why there are no exterior photos. We don’t really know the suburbs in Lower Hut, but this one seems a little shady. The unit has a bit of a damp smell and the carpets are worn and old. The shower is terrible with no water pressure. We travel across NZ a lot and usually books in the same ballpark price range. My review would have been different if this was marketed as budget or cheap accommodation, but unfortunately for the price it was disappointing.
