The proximity to the motorway.
We were very unimpressed with the exterior of the hotel - the entrance was via a bar with a scruffy terrace and a very steep slope which was intended for disabled people but a wheelchair user would not have been able to use it. The reception area was not welcoming at all and when I realised there was no lift and it was 2 flights of steps to the rooms we decided not to stay. I have mobility issues and struggle with steps. I realise I should have checked that the hotel had a lift or ground floor rooms.
