The accommodation is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. It’s a stunning three-storey property right on the edge of the lake, and it was spotless, really well kept, and smelt lovely when we arrived.The bedrooms were comfortable and the communal spaces were perfect for spending time together. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of thoughtful extras left by Mark, which was really appreciated.
Mark was an excellent host throughout. He kept in touch with us before and during our stay, and when we arrived late on the Friday night and needed to contact him, he was easily reachable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and his communication made the whole stay stress-free.
The location is great, there’s a lovely walk around the lakes nearby, easy access to the café across the road, and the outdoor shop close by too.
Parking was absolutely fine for a couple of cars.
Our only very minor comment (and it really is minor) would be that a few more glasses in the cupboard would have been useful. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

I was surprised about how much road noise you could hear in the background.
