It a nice property and location was good, it was on the main road but it wasn’t too noisy which was good. Local bakery was lovely and their quiches to die for . The rooms were a good size and a small private back yard, which I was able to park by. Front bedroom the only one used and was exceedingly comfortable .
I hadn’t realised the shower/ toilet were at the end of the kitchen, so in the middle of the night it was a bit of a trek and there is no bannister rail on the stairs. It felt slightly unsafe. Also no blinds at the kitchen window so no privacy when in the kitchen at night time. So either blinds or some privacy screen would be good. No brush or hoover, this would make life easier when you have a dog. Bedrooms , no dressing table to sit at to dry hair etc and I had to go and get the only mirror I could find out of another bedroom so I could dry my hair. No chair to pop clothes onto in the bedroom or a chest of draws to put clothes on. Downstairs in between the lounge and dining room there are screws protruding up, that are not fixed in properly, luckily I was not walking around barefoot and my dog didn’t catch his feet on them. When I had to use the toilet in the middle of the night I had some unwelcome visitors….slugs. In the kitchen, I couldn’t work out where they had come in from but they had crawled over my dogs food bowl, I was able to wash the bowl
But I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t come down at night and can cause issue for dogs.
