It was very well furnished and equipped, very comfortable and clean. Tastefully decorated and lots of appliances and dishes etc - very clean it to properly self cater here. Excellent location and parking was great. The bed was comfortable and bedroom had black out blinds which was brilliant.
We could just about catch a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops, I think because of the way the apartment was advertised, we were expecting an actual sea view! Nevertheless, it was so close to everything, including the sea, that it only took minutes to get anywhere.
The lift wasn’t working and this had been an integral reason we’d booked, I phoned and double checked there was a lift before booking as I have a disability. The lift had been not working for some weeks however we were not told about this before our arrival. We reported it immediately however it was not even looked at during our stay despite chasing. Numerous times. This impacted my stay considerably due to the 4 flights of stairs, meaning it was difficult to go in and out and whilst staff were prompt and courteous in responding, nothing was resolved and we were offered nothing to try to make our stay better. During our stay, I noticed the listing has now been amended to say ‘stairs only access to the upper floors’. This was not the case when we booked.
As someone else has mentioned, the main view from the balcony is over the bins and car park of the hotel in front which is a little noisy/busy/brightly lit.
There was very little information about the local area, local facilities, places to visit in the apartment.
There was no information about recycling - how, what and where - it simply said to empty the bin when full and follow local instruction re recycling- there were none.
