The apartment was lovely and it's location to the beach and shops was perfect as it was all in walking distance. My car stayed parked once I arrived until we left. It was also nice and quite and not a busy location.
The lounge was uncomfortable, the power outlet for the lamp did not work and when I went to get a glass of water during the night there where cockroaches on the kitchen bench.
What was a MAJOR concern, was that at aprox 7:45am on Monday 5th October the owner Mark entered the properties back veranda via the side of the apartment unannouced where we were having coffee in our nightwear and my 84 year old Mother was only half dressed walking from the main bathroom to the mail bedroom and Mark would have been able to see inside, Mum couldn't cover herself up as she uses a walker. Mark introducted himeself and then proceeded to take a set (not offered). He then stated that he and Bev were wondering why we were still here? I replied because we have paid to be here. Mark then shoved his phone in my face to show me what booking he had, I asked him to remove his phone from my face and got my phone and showed him my booking confirmation email. Mark then blamed his admin person, whilst he was still there going on about the people coming in wanted to book in early, I received an email thanking us for staying and it showed the exit date being Monday 5th October 2026 at 10am, I showed Mark this and received no reply. Marks early morning visit was against the agreed and paid for exit time and we found his visit was passive agressive behavour and wanting to bully us out early. I can only hope this is not a normal behaviour especially when the property is being rent by just females.
