Hotel Sea Queen Suite & Golf Cart Rental

The hotel was surrounded by the convenience of a minimart which was literally almost connected to the building, a supermarket a minutes walk away, a water taxi station exactly across the street with an ice cream shop and more, and the hotel had golf carts for rent.

They should look into getting an alternative for when the power and water goes. We had an outage for a couple hours, which was an inconvenience at the time, but apart from that the rooms are as shown. The place was clean and comfortable.

New and clean. The location is very convenient to our favorite dive shop, Belize Island Divers and an easy walk to town and the airport.

It's new and some things are still being worked out. Not a big deal. The kitchen and bathroom supplies were a little sparse but the staff provided everything we asked for.

La limpieza y orden de la habitación, asi como el espacio ya que realmente es mas amplio de lo que esperaba, la ubicación es buena ya que está frente a la terminal marítima hacia caye caulker y algunos negocios de comida.

La vista de la habitación hacia el frente es hacia una construcción y en la parte del balcón es hacia otro edificio abandonado, por lo que la vista es mala. Adicionalmente las dos tv que hay en la habitacion no pueden reproducir aplicaciones de stream ni canales locales.

The rooms are large and clean.

I genuinely loved the Sea Queen Suite itself—the apartment is beautiful, the location is great, and the overall aesthetic is lovely. However, my experience on the final night and the subsequent management response unfortunately left a very bitter taste. On my last night, I returned early to get some rest since I had a 6:00 AM departure. At 8:00 PM, the electricity went completely out. For nearly four hours (almost 4 hours total), I sat alone in the dark, extreme heat, and without Wi-Fi. There was no staff on site, no emergency contact options available due to the dead signal/Wi-Fi, and absolutely zero communication from management letting guests know what was happening or when power would return. As a female solo traveler trapped in a hot room with no information, it was a very stressful and uncomfortable experience, and I only got 4 hours sleep before an early morning. The next morning, I discovered that this planned outage was actually something management knew about beforehand due to local utility work. Guests should have been informed in advance so alternative arrangements could be made. When I raised this with the manager, the response was dismissive, minimizing the stress of being left alone in the dark for hours, and acting as though providing the advertised shuttle service was a massive personal favor rather than a standard included amenity. It is unfortunate because the property itself has so much potential, but the lack of basic guest communication, on-site assistance during emergencies, and poor customer service recovery mean I cannot rate this stay higher.
