Really straight forward process for getting access to the property without having to deal with staff and needing to have to go through a big check in desk. The room is comfortable, good facilities and would definitely stay here again.
So are the issues that I had at the property, but they are minor.
A) The doors slam shut quite loudly and forcefully because of the door hinge arm. With this being a trade accommodation this can be quite disruptive if people are working different hours. The person in the room next to me would leave about 5am and this would wake me up which wasn't ideal.
B) The bathroom in my room smelt a bit mildew-y which wasn't pleasant. I know this was a one off though from other times staying at the accommodation and my friend's room.
C) The room can be quite hot at times. A small fan is provided but didn't help that much.
D) It would be nice to have some more flexibility for check-in and checkout times. 10am is quite an early check out and the earliest check is 4pm. It would be nice to have the option of getting a message for an earlier check in if the room is ready. Or to have a later standard checkout like 12.
That said I'm still giving this property a 9, it's very pleasant and has acted as my home away from home.

I was so pleased with my choice of accommodation. The room was absolutely beautiful — spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and just as lovely as it looked in the pictures. I was genuinely so happy when I arrived and knew I’d picked a good place to stay.
The location was fantastic too. The room is situated just off a main road with plenty of cafés and a pub right next door, so there are lots of options nearby for food and drinks. Wetherspoons is literally around the corner, about a four-minute walk away, and is a great option for breakfast, although there are plenty of other places in the area to choose from too.
The beach was only around 10 minutes away on foot, and it was approximately a 28-minute walk to the main shopping area and the Spinnaker Tower.
As a female solo traveller, I also felt very safe staying here, which was really important to me and made my stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I had a lovely stay and couldn’t have been happier with the room, cleanliness and location. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it, especially to other solo travellers.
