The host was extremely gracious and lovely! The place was well kept with breath taking views around. The host even explained everything around to see. Their horses and farm look so nice and i guarantee a nice morning scene!

Gretta and Ciaran are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and felt like a true guest rather than a paying client. The location is gorgeous, the room well-appointed, and the hosts wonderful! I discovered through my stay here that Monaghan is Ireland's 'hidden gem'. Bragan Mountain View is an excellent base for exploring nearby cities, towns, and villages (Monaghan, Clones, Emyvale, and more!), iconic Irish countryside, the borderlands, Northern Ireland, as well as areas of unique natural beauty, like Bragan Mountain and its upland bog. The property is set within a beautiful environment that is a great place to relax and unwind. And as an added bonus, if you're looking for North American levels of water pressure and hot water availability, Bragan Mountain View is it! This is the perfect, tranquil stay on your next take-a-break driving trip.
To be clear, there wasn't anything I didn't like about the stay. Fair warning about navigation, however: Google Maps is essential, normal GPS (Sat Nav) is next to useless in parts of County Monaghan outside the N2 and basic roadways between major centres. Google Maps will sometimes take you along roads that not even the locals would bother with, so check with the hosts for tips and tricks. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I found my way.
