Like many areas of New Orleans, the neighborhood is undergoing some renovations just like this house did. Some homes have been completely restored and others are awaiting their salvation! While some spots in the area may look a little rough, we've never experienced any safety issues here and our neighbors are wonderful people!

Mid-City pulls you in the moment you arrive - shotgun houses lining the street, live oaks overhead, and the faint smell of coffee drifting from a café around the corner. This classic New Orleans home drops you right into the rhythm of the city, with a fenced backyard, fire pit, and a layout that's as authentic as the neighborhood itself.

The space
The traditional shotgun layout is part of the experience - rooms connected one after another in a row, the way New Orleans has built homes for over a century. Tall windows draw in natural light, and the curated décor reflects the character of the city without trying too hard. It's a home that feels lived-in and welcoming, set up for a genuine stay rather than a staged one.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms offer comfortable resting space for up to 4 guests. Each room is made up with soft linens and plush bedding for restful nights. Because of the shotgun layout, the bedrooms connect in sequence - a design detail that's true to the architecture and part of what makes a stay here feel distinctly New Orleans.

Kitchen & dining
The fully stocked kitchen is set up for everything from a slow morning coffee to a full dinner. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and baking sheet, along with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. Pull up a chair at the dining table and ease into your day before heading out to explore.

Outdoor living
The private, fully fenced backyard is where the evenings come together. Gather around the fire pit, settle into the outdoor furniture, and fire up the BBQ for a casual dinner. The space is pet-friendly, so your furry travel companions are welcome to join.

Comfort & conveniences
Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and heating keep things comfortable whatever the weather brings. The home also includes a washer and dryer, room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, a sound system, iron, and hangers. Essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel are provided, along with cleaning products. You'll have a private entrance, free street parking, and self check-in via smart lock for a smooth arrival.

The neighborhood
Mid-City puts you within easy reach of everything. Trader Joe's, local cafés, and the streetcar line are just blocks away, connecting you to City Park, the French Quarter, and the Superdome. Whether you're here for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a Saints game, or a slower-paced visit, the location works year-round.
