Large, part of a bigger group of properties, lots of pools, right on the main tourist disco-drag, everything happening right outside your window, a few steps to the beach.
Staff were not helpful or proactively or even knowledgeable - EXCEPT the janitorial staff - they were heaven. We had no information provided at check in, conflicting information about which pools we could use, etc, and they couldn’t help with transfers or anything.
The property itself is just a bit tired - broken drawers in bathroom, no mirror in “family suite” other than the held mirror in the bathroom, and only a pullout chair for a second bed, rather than the actual sofabed advertised.
Floor boards were separating in room, fridge was in bedroom (?!), and it was SO loud, even five floors up.
There was a singer with a very loud mic going for it for five hours solid every night - til midnight - loud enough for the whole complex to hear which, I guess if I’d been expecting that, I wouldn’t have been so grumpy about but because there was no sound insulation, it wasn’t a great experience.
Everything is just a bit shit, basically, and I’d be surprised if the international standards authority gave this location anything other than 3 or 3.5 stars.
Only book it if you want to party - it’s not very relaxing.
