Location, rustic aspect, comfort and simplicity of cottage.

Water throughout was cold for second half of the week. A plumber was immediately called but the part wasn't going to arrive until after we'd left. I was happy enough with this- boilers do break down. However, when I mentioned to the Interhome rep that there should be some financial remuneration I was told that nothing could be done, a complaint would have to be made after, correct channels etc etc1 I think that it just wasn't enough nor handled with the proper sensitivity and this marred what was otherwise a beautiful experience. I just wish somebody would say 'No hot water? That's not good enough. I'll get it fixed immediately and if I can't, I'll make sure that some compensation is provided- leave it with me'. Where is the personal touch these days...
