We had a really relaxing stay at this quaint beachfront cottage. The location was the highlight. It’s right on the beach with hardly anyone around, making it perfect if you're looking to avoid crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful, and we loved walking the shoreline collecting the many large shells.There were also plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including free paddleboards and kayaks, along with shuffleboard, ping pong, and foosball.The cottage itself is older and has more of a rustic, cabin-at-a-campground feel. Just something to be aware of, but not unexpected given the natural, beachfront setting. The rooms were clean and the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. Overall, this is a great spot if you value privacy, nature, and a laid-back atmosphere over modern accommodations. We'd definitely recommend it for a quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Manasota Beach Club. Our room opened on to a our deck with direct beach access. The beach is very private and there were never very many people on the beach. Best sunsets and wildlife viewing. While we were there we saw dolphins, a manatee, a stingray, a tortoise, a rabbit, lizards and iguanas. I went on daily runs on the road and played tennis. There are also plenty of beach gear available to use located at the club house. It was a very relaxing stay!

The location was great! Right on the beach! Very quiet little section of the beach. Close to Cool Today Park for spring training games. Great restaurants nearby. A couple negative things is that this unit needs comfortable seating to watch TV or just to sit and read inside. And the unit needs a water source at the kitchenette. Washing dishes in a rubber tub in the bathtub is not ideal but we made it work.
