I had two very comfortable nights there.
The things I would recommend are -
A shelf in the bathroom to put all you stuff on.
A bed side lamp.
A menu for the pub/restaurant below.
A bit of a bigger desk to work from.
All would be great improvements on a good room.
Part of me liked the self check-in
Part of me didn't like the self check-in.
Don't get me wrong, it worked seamlessly, its just that human interaction bit missing

Very close to Avonmouth port, where I needed to go. Plenty of coffee. Lovely soft towels. Plenty of convenient stores around. Pub underneath, although I did not go in, but good to know its there.
Avonmouth would not be a good holiday destination, a bit downtrodden and godforsaken. They didnt hear about the law of picking up dogs poo. But the accommodation is very good.

I didn't have breakfast,
The people in the Bar area were very helpful and polite, the gentleman carried my bags to my room.
I didnt drink in the bar area as I was their for a friend's funeral so just an overnight stay...
Bit expensive for just a bed for 1 night.
Other than the price for 1night everything was good.
