From start to finish, everything was absolutely fantastic. The place was even better than the photos: spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had every little detail thought of for a comfortable stay. It felt like a real home away from home!
There is no parking in the property and the parking nearby is very expensive

I have mixed feelings about our stay. The apartment is very nice and very clean, which is definitely a big plus. There is an elevator in the building, although it is a very small one that can accommodate a maximum of 2–3 people, but at least there is one.
A big plus for the fan, especially during the heatwave.
The apartment is generally well equipped, but there is a lack of wardrobes or closets where you can hang clothes on hangers. There are only exposed hanging rails next to the toilet.
The listing states that there is a washing machine. The washing machine is indeed in the bathroom, but unfortunately, it does not work. We stayed for 6 nights with children, so it is easy to imagine that we needed to do laundry at least once or twice. After we reported that the washing machine was not working, the owner replied that they were sorry, but there was no one available who could repair it. In my opinion, the owner should check that all the appliances and facilities are working properly before guests arrive.
The floorboards/parquet are extremely squeaky, which is very annoying, especially at night when the children are sleeping.
The following is not something that can be blamed on the owner, but I decided to mention it because it was a real shock for us. If we had known what the area looked like, we would not have chosen this location.
On the street right in front of the building, there are makeshift camps where homeless people stay. Every day, they were either sitting on the benches or sleeping on mattresses. We couldn't open windows on the evening as they were very loud. I find it quite shocking that this is what the area looks like in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Perhaps it would be worthwhile for the owners to take an interest in the surroundings of their apartments and see what the immediate area is like.
