From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. Before we even stepped inside, we were welcomed by a little chalkboard with our names on it - a simple gesture, but one that immediately made us feel like guests rather than customers. The apartment itself is a private suite with its own entrance, attached to the hosts’ home. It’s beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and filled with thoughtful little details. You can tell that every part of it has been created with care - and with an obvious love for manatees, which gives the place its own unique charm. One of our favourite surprises was the guest information folder. Instead of the usual collection of house rules, it contains fantastic recommendations for the local area, things to do, places to eat and hidden gems. It felt like getting advice from a good friend rather than reading a standard welcome booklet. The location is simply wonderful. Nestled in a peaceful neighbourhood beside a beautiful lake, it’s the perfect place to slow down. In the evening we sat by the fire pit, watched the sunset over the water and enjoyed the incredible wildlife. We even had Sandhill Cranes wandering right past us. When we wanted a closer look at the birds and other animals, our hosts happily lent us a pair of binoculars. What really makes this place exceptional, though, is the hospitality.

very nice private and safe neighborhood with a lake close by making the location feel more peaceful. Carla was very nice and kind to tour us around the property and made us feel at home. Room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Definitely will stay here again when we visit the area.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft direkt am See - von hier aus kann man sehr viel erkunden. Die Besitzer Carla und Clint sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und die Zeit genossen.

Es hat leider keine Küchenzeile zum kochen usw.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Gastgeberin, aus Deutschland stammend, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
