I was born 1962, so influences my perspective. Keeping Heritage buildings, including ALL the interior is vital. Adelaide is losing most of these buildings. With renovations, ideally would be good to replicate any damaged parts. Liked: Loved Louvre windows, original wooden window frames, long corridor upstairs; bedroom doors to the wide balcony, the back raised rainwater tank, back yard mini bridge to hotel etc. Nice soup; good parking out front with its security cameras. Eclectic. Want to stay again.

Recommendations : Need exhaust fans in shower cubicles. There’s the back access into the hotel – was locked overnight during my stay. But needs a taller fence and tall gate to the gravel driveway to back property – with ‘key’ access? Practicalities ? CT TV monitors too out the back. You’re probably have plans to do so. Understand costings too. Maybe Mannum has more honest people – but are visitors too. The $100 key deposit to be written in your T& C. Also, better to have an official paper Receipt if giving cash – I asked for one – written on a piece of paper which worked, but not ideal.
