What a superb apartment and friendly host! The location to nearby car parks, places to shop, eat and drink are excellent and a very short drive to Stansted Airport - will definitely book again!

Location is fab. So close to station bars cafes takeaways and restaurants. It's also a lovely little village that felt super safe. Apartment was spotless. It also had piping hot water and a few lovely little touches from milk in fridge, to biscuits tea and coffee.. There were even period products and a pack of nappies in a wardrobe if people caught short. Station one stop from airport with trains every hour! Flat also super equipped, air fryer micro cooker fridge and with shop across road , a full breakfast was cooked for 4 for ten pounds.
So it's best for two or max three tbh. We were 4. Bedroom fab but Sofa bed small and very uncomfortable for two. Also in room with sofa bed a security light shined in window all night. Great for safety not for sleep. These are 1st world problems and not deal breakers. Would highly recommend.

The location is very near to Stansted airport (less than 15 min drive)
The Cleanliness of the whole place was spotless, and smelt very clean too.
The access instructions were easy to follow
The provided facilities were beyond what we expected and the provided products were good quality.
There is a supermarket (at time of review co-op) less than 2 minute steady walk from the apartment.
Car park is very near by
To be fair there isn't anything but I will nitpick in the interest of fairness.
1) in the living room/2nd bedroom i wish there was a blind for the front door as the outside lights do keep the room light when trying to sleep in there.
2) car parking could get expensive if staying during car park chargeable operational hours (outside of owners control)
3) The access gate even when trying to be quiet is not very quiet, and could disturb light sleepers.
4) The road access isn't concrete so someone unsteady on there feet may find the road part not the easiest (outside of owners control)
5);access drive isnt signposted as castle walk and sat nav ends just as you enter into the road, the instructions could be a little clearer.

Modern well appointed property.
No on-site parking, but a public car park was situated close by. Pay attention to the free time and the hours where payment is required.
