Good spot - did exactly what I needed. Cheap and clean and free parking. Used it to go to the cricket at Edbaston. Check ii was great as it meant I could pick the keys up at the hotel any time in the evening. The car park is part of the hotel and is huge and free.
The area not the most salubrious but once you get into the room (think of it more like a travelodge with a small kitchenette) it was great.
No wi-fi was a surprise - not even the option to purchase.

It was very clean, well presented looked great on arrival
I didn’t like the rug on the floor behind the door as kept getting caught under the door, door needs looking at as hard to close as it has dropped. Had frying pan and saucepans but no facility to use them and the bed was very uncomfortable and sank in the middle. I didn’t like the disturbance from outside till early hours of the morning and the person or people staying in room above us stomping back and forward till gone 2am
