Fully renovated in December 2025, you and up to 5 others will enjoy the comforts and beauty of all the new furnishings... from the kitchen cabinets and appliances to the beds, floor, doors and windows ... all the way down to the behind-the-scenes elements like closet shelves, towels and linens ... the renovation list can go on and on!

The large family room provides plenty of seating with a leather sofa with 2 built-in recliners, a leather loveseat and 2 upholstered swivel chairs. Blankets and pillows make for a cozy spot to watch movies and sports on the 65" flatscreen TV, sprawl on the floor for some board games or simply hang out with each other!

The coastal, open kitchen is well-equipped so cooking is enjoyable. In addition to the 4 built-in appliances, you will find a coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, crockpot and griddle as well as a wide variety of dinnerware, glassware, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc.

We have taken extra steps to ensure the unit is a great fit for both groups of all adults AND families with kids alike! Seating for 6 at the large dining table, a spacious kitchen to allow for group cooking, a family room with a large screen TV and multiple, comfortable seating options, bedrooms with cozy beds, TVs and ensuite bathrooms, a myriad of beach gear such as beach chairs, boogie board, sand toys, bocce ball and footballs, and additional fun with board games, pickleball equipment and basketballs. For the younger set, we provide a pack n play for a good night's sleep and a drawer of kid-friendly dinnerware to make mealtime just a little easier. Evenings spent on the back lawn or on the patio in super comfortable adirondack chairs will be wonderful memory makers for your family!

The amenities on the property will provide hours of outdoor fun and relaxation which includes brand new tennis AND pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, basketball hoop, large pool heated in winter, beach pad with chaise lounges and large umbrellas for the times you don't want to put your toes in the sand and, of course, the beach itself. Upstairs in the Owner's Lounge, playing pool and ping pong or browsing the lending library of books and puzzles add to the fun.

Many venture off the property to take in all the fun of Flagler Avenue and Canal Street, enjoying fantastic shops - like The Posh Pineapple and Seaside Cottage - great restaurants - such as The Baker's Table, The Garlic and Third Wave Cafe - and lively bars - like Flager Tavern and Breakers. Others are looking for more active adventures and take advantage of nearby kayak rentals/tours with Get Up and Go Kayaking and e-bike rentals at Pedego, golf at the New Smyrna Golf Club or even climbing to the top of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. If you have kids in your group, the Marine Discovery Center, NSB Bowling Lanes and Riverside Park are also favorites. Your time at The Southwind can be whatever you choose!

If you are looking for some day trips, Disney, SeaWorld and Universal theme parks, Daytona International Speedway and Kennedy Space Center have lots to offer. For those flying in, Orlando International, Daytona Beach International and Sanford/Orlando Airport are all great options.

Our unit rents from Saturday to Saturday during the high season of March, April, May, June and July. As the personal owners of the condo, we have flexibility in all other months in terms of the starting and ending days of the week.
