The property was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I felt very comfortable and at home there. Loved the view from my balcony. Lorenzo was a very helpful host and collected me from the train station. It is necessary to arrange that because you cannot pick up a taxi at the station and is too far to walk with a case
There wasn’t anything I disliked. It was a 35 min uphill walk from the town but I knew that when I booked and was happy with that. But do take that into account if considering, I felt it was well worth it.

Spacious apartment, lots of storage areas. Lorenzo the host was lovely and extremely helpful.
We didn't have a car with us so the walk to main Varenna took 35minutes. Just something to be made aware of. Great to walk off the dinner on the way home. But in the heat during the day was tough. Host was very helpful and can drive you to the town for 10 euros.

The property was very clean and the host Lorenzo was so helpful. Getting back from the centre was easy by taxi. Lorenzo gave us taxi services to use and they were always very good.
It was a little too far out of the centre as to what we really would have liked but that was our fault.

View from room. Amenities were sufficient. Quiet. Location to beach.
Walk into town is about 30-40 minutes one way. Its doable, though after a full day of walking around, the 4 mile round trip adds up. One restaurant nearby, about 15 min walk. Otherwise plan for taxi. We skipped the taxi each day and walked in stead. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
