The hotel is very central, just a short walk away from the train and other facilities. No need for a car!
The hotel was a bit noisy but the noise stopped before bed time. There were not many vegetarian choices in the restaurant.

Was clean, comfortable and staff were lovely. The little extras in the bathroom were a nice touch
No hot chocolate sachets in the room

It was convenient for our needs.
At some point in its not-too-distant past it has been refurbished, unfortunately, to me, it looked like that had been done on the cheap. On the surface, the place looks quite nice, but you soon notice its faults. In addition, maintenance has been very poor. For example, our bathroom door had suffered water damage, the remedy was to just paint it over. It looked very ugly.
