THE SETTING
A private, wooded two-acre lot just outside Tofte, with Lake Superior views out front and the Superior National Forest behind the house. Decks and big windows bring the woods inside. After dark the sky goes truly black.

Sleeping is easy for eight. Three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, so no one waits in the morning and no one sleeps on a sofa.

THE GAME ROOM
800 sq ft and heated, with an 85" smart TV and Sonos surround sound, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard and darts, plus a popcorn bar, puzzles, board games, its own kitchenette and a second fridge.

LIVING, KITCHEN AND DINING
The living room has walls of windows, a gas fireplace, deep couches and plenty of blankets, and no TV on purpose. The kitchen has a gas range, two refrigerators and everything down to the spices, oils and sharp knives. The dining table seats ten. The coffee bar has a Breville espresso machine, whole beans and Moccamaster drip coffee, with a tea station and a cocktail station alongside.

The whole home is yours: every level, the game room, the sauna and the full yard, except two small locked supply closets. Self check-in with a smart lock at the garage door. We answer messages quickly, and no one lives on site, so the home is private to your group.

PARKING AND WINTER DRIVING
Free driveway parking for 3 vehicles, and a few more is fine for family groups. The home is on a quiet private road and the association plows after 3 inches of snow. In winter, please bring an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

HOUSE RULES
- 8 guests maximum
- Renters must be 25 or older and stay for the whole trip
- No parties or events, no smoking indoors, no pets
- Check-in after 4 PM, checkout by 10 AM
- Our home is in a private association with noise and light rules. Outdoor noise must stay low and outdoor music is not allowed. The association monitors this and Cook County enforces it.

A few honest notes about the deep woods: mosquitoes come out at dusk in summer and you may spot a harmless garter snake. It's the trade-off for a national forest at your back. There's no central air conditioning; shades, fans and cool North Shore nights keep the house comfortable.

Noise monitoring: this property uses decibel-only noise monitors inside and out to help us respond quickly to excessive noise and protect our neighbors' quiet. They measure sound level only, record no audio or video, and none are in bedrooms, bathrooms or other sleeping areas. Repeated excessive-noise alerts may result in a warning or, for severe or repeated violations, immediate check-out without refund.
