great location surrounded by nature and community. Easy access to tourist attractions in the area with public transport and calm walks to reach the main road or beach. Best part about this stay is the loving family that runs the place and will teach you so much about Gambian community

I looked for a place like this, therefore everything was very fine for me. I liked the friendly way of receiving and hosting me, the whole family, the evening at the campfire with drumming music. Even the outdoor shower and toilet was fitting to the whole place perfectly and really nothing was missing for me. The room is near and clean and I slept very well, because there was no noise in the night.
I could use the outdoor kitchen and enjoyed hanging around in the compound. Also it's not far to the beach and only a20 mins walk to the main road with all public means.
Thanks to the whole family in the bush baby compound.
Everything was fine and fitting to the offered price level of the accommodation. If somebody expects luxury and needs electricity, then they should look for other places. But if somebody would like to experience the real Gambia, they should book a stay.

Cama cómoda. A 20 minutos andando desde la estación de buses/taxis. La misma distancia aproximadamente a una preciosa y limpia playa. No tienes comodidades (ducha fría, electricidad)pero tampoco te falta nada imprescindible. Se crea un bonito entorno alrededor del fuego acompañado de percusión. Pequeña tienda cercana para abastecerte. Un puntazo que tienen agua filtrada. En definitiva Gunjur es un bonito lugar todavía no explotado por el turismo
