We enjoyed a very comfortable stay @golfside getaway. The house was well presented, clean and very central to our needs. A large upstairs room was ideal to spend time with extended family visiting. The original section of the house was very well heated, not quiet so warm in the newer area, the upstairs extension was well heated as well and all bedrooms were warm and comfortable. Plenty of parking both on the property and street. We had 3 generations staying in the house everyone found their own space. Property is close to main street that has good supermarket little cafes takeaway and pub. But close enough to ballarat to explore.

A few small maintenance issues that I've addressed with the owners. Electronic gates not always operating, lack of microwave.

I would give a 4 star review for the accomodation Great location, clean and tidy, plenty of extra thoughtful touches especially kitchen supplies. Clean, responsive. Loved the coffee/hot chocolate options. Good location. Reasonably priced.

The main gripes are : upstairs area smell making the space unusable. No information on how to use heating etc and expectations re checkout. I would suggest doing something about that smellllll, try and configure a better ‘congregation’ area and clearer instructions. Heating/cooling options in rooms would be good. Eg an electric blanket. If the smell was gone that could be set up as the meeting area
