Dangerous garage, damaged car, no compensation after one month

I strongly advise against booking this property if you plan to use the garage. The automatic garage door has only one sensor located outside the entrance. Once your car passes that sensor, there is no detection inside — the door will close regardless of whether a vehicle, a person, or even a child is still in the way. I have video proof of this: I tested it with my arm and the door continued closing with force without stopping. It is a serious safety hazard. When entering the garage, the door closed on my car while I was still inside, causing significant damage to the rear right side of my vehicle. I also have dashcam footage clearly showing the door closing on my car. What followed was even more frustrating. YAW (the property manager) initially promised that the building administrator and their insurance would handle the damage. After one month of emails, silence, and delays, I received a response from the building administrator’s insurance company dismissing my claim with a simple explanation: I had entered too slowly, and once a vehicle passes the sensor located outside, whatever happens inside is not their responsibility. I was left with a damaged car and no compensation, despite having clear video and photographic evidence of what happened. If something goes wrong here, do not expect this property manager to take responsibility. They will pass you from one party to another until you give up. Book elsewhere.
