Quick heads-up: condo life = some upstairs footsteps. This is an apartment-style building that was built in the 1970s.
The tradeoff? You’re right at the base of Alyeska - ski-in/ski-out - and steps from Girdwood local favorites Jack Sprat, Sitzmark, Bake Shop, and more. Grab your skis and enjoy a seriously walkable, well-priced stay.
This 1-bedroom Girdwood condo is a home base for a solo traveler, adventurous couple, or small family looking to ski and explore. It’s walkable to Mount Alyeska and has a private entrance.
The kitchen and bathroom have concrete countertops. The kitchen also features Bosch appliances and a wine cooler.
The bedroom has a queen bed with individual reading lights. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, making the space suitable for up to 3–4 guests.
You’ll also have:
• A fully equipped kitchen
• Smart TV and Wi-Fi (log into your own streaming accounts)
• Entryway storage for skis and winter gear
Guests have access to shared common areas, including:
• Pool table and ping-pong table (equipment provided)
• Sauna
• Ski waxing station

Other things to note
• We live off-site in Anchorage but are responsive and available by message or phone if needed.
• The condo is heated by a wall heater in the bedroom and a gas fireplace in the living room (note that the exterior of the fireplace gets hot and is not safe for young children.)
• There is no air conditioning (most Anchorage/Girdwood residences do not have A/C), but portable fans are provided.
• This condo is best suited for guests who value location, walkability, and value over luxury or complete quiet. This is an active, no-frills basecamp for Mount Alyeska and the surrounding area.

It is a lovely place. Lots of amenities on site. The communication was great. Very responsive. We hadn’t been to the place yet and I wanted to know about coffee and any references for dining in Seward. They have a Keurig and we went to Rays in Seward. Both were perfect! It was a perfect stay. Thank you so much!

I was very happy with our stay here. The location is prime! The space was comfortable and cozy. We were not bothered by the footsteps upstairs as the noise mostly happened during waking hours but, we were also there during spring break so perhaps the tenants above were not on their usual schedule. We were missing a few items in the listing when we arrived (extra bedding for the couch, parking pass and wifi information) but, our host was quick to communicate and help us meet all our needs. I would happily book this place again.

We had a great time, very close to ski resort and bus stop to head into town. Condo was very clean and nice
