Host was really lovely and helpful. Responsive to messages. Apartment is really clean with everything you need - good kitchen, and living room area, comfortable bed, plenty of fresh towels etc. Location is excellent - short walk to St John’s Wood / Marylebone areas.
The lift was out of order and had been for some time. 3rd floor and I’m disabled and really struggled with access. Also, it’s split accommodation- a very small bedroom / en-suite with kitchen living room access across a shared hall. Not a big deal in normal times, but I’m not well and found the set up difficult. I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known about the lift and split accommodation. I left early and the host was helpful and gave me a one night refund. Was receptive to feedback about making the info clearer, and even helped with groceries etc due to lift problem. Couldn’t fault him at all and would stay here in healthier times!

Location was great and the idea of a living space was nice to have. Portable AC was helpful. We would roll it from the living room to the bedroom.
Some toiletries useful but no shampoo, only 2 conditioners.
I thought the marketing was confusing and so after I booked, I asked. You have access to 2 rooms in the apartment with locks and the other is rented out to someone else who comes and goes. I wouldn’t have booked if I had known this as it isn’t convenient. I felt like I was back sharing a flat with someone.
Shower is extremely small and the bed was not comfy. The lift was broken and should have been disclosed before booking. They did tell us after booking but not ideal when you have cases or mobility issues.
Dishes in the kitchen could have been cleaner and despite a cleaning fee being incorporated in the price, you’re asked to clean the dishes and take out the bins. I normally would do this anyway but I think it’s a bit cheeky.
Lastly, I was hounded with emails before arriving on timing and purpose of visit. The latter should be private.
