It's a great idea and unique experience. The BBQ setup was lovely, outdoor bath was nice and the bathroom was modern. It was so lovely seeing the stars at night and we were lucky enough to see a few shooting stars.
There is zero shade and no ability to find comfort during the day. We actually booked for two nights but left by lunchtime after the first night. The dome is so hot - it's like being in a locked car in the middle of the day, only worse as there is no shade above you, so zero relief. Outside there is no shade, no umbrellas, no day beds etc. to relax on and get some time out of the sun. The sunset was beautiful, but again nowhere to find any relief, you just have the sun on you for hours. At one point we moved our chairs to the carpark behind the dome just to get some shade. It gets very cold overnight, although the electric blankets helped with that. The daytime is awful. It was a lovely gesture being left a bottle of wine, however it was left in the bubble, in direct sunlight and was off once we were able to cool it and try it. A super small fridge considering you need to be self-sufficient. Very close to the driveway, with limited privacy so when cars came past they could see you in the bath. It would be helped by better air conditioning in the dome, some shade and more privacy. Also, be careful when going to the bathroom at night as the door slammed on us leaving us locked out with no phones or way of getting in touch with anyone. Luckily it hadn't closed completely, it bounced back, so we could catch it and get back in. A bit disconcerting as the bubble is so loud inside so you can't hear what's going on outside and there is no way to look out behind you to know what is going on, a window in the second space would be helpful for security.
