I had a very pleasant stay at Watergate Hotel. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the location. The hotel is conveniently located between Nizami Street and the Old City, making it easy to reach both areas on foot.
Having an elevator is also a big plus. The hotel offers breakfast, although it only starts at 9:00 AM, which can be a little late if you have an early day planned.
I booked a room with a balcony advertised as having a view of the Flame Towers, but unfortunately, the view was mostly blocked by trees, so there wasn’t much to see from the balcony.
Another thing I really appreciated is that there are three supermarkets just downstairs from the hotel, and two of them are open 24/7. This was very convenient, especially for getting water, snacks or anything we needed during the day or late at night.
The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The bathroom is modern, and the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the housekeeping, which was not done automatically every day and sometimes had to be requested.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for its excellent location, friendly staff and very good value for money.
