The location was wonderful. It is close to the river with views of Upnor castle. It is close to the Chatham maritime outlet centre with shops, Ship and Trades hotel and fish and chip shop. The Historic dockyard and the English coast path are within walking distance. The room is lovely and bright.The host Lola is very friendly and helpful and provided toys for the grandson.
It is a slightly difficult set up having to share Lola's ensuite if you need the loo in the night. We also think the cleaning charge of £15 should be more prominent rather than being hidden in the terms and conditions. We felt the description needs to be more exact. Yes, there is a television, but it is in the lounge. Yes, there are tea and coffee making facilities but they are in the kitchen. There is also a toilet on the ground floor which another resident suggested we used. The bunk beds are very comfortable, but it might be sensible to tighten a few screws before disaster happens as it does creak ominously with an adult on the top bunk. If you like conventional bedding, take you own.

Lovely, peaceful, beautiful location. Closure to amenities. Easy access to public transport.
No desk and chair in the room. Would have been helpful to have one.
