Firstly, we were the only guests during the two days we stayed, which made the whole experience feel really peaceful and special. The location in Bangkok’s “Green Lung” was amazing and perfect for us as we were filming a video about the area and its natural beauty. The staff were all lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
One of the staff members spoke amazing English and was genuinely great to chat to. We also found out he’s a competitive coffee artist who creates incredible latte art designs. Sadly we didn’t get to see one in person, but the photos on his Instagram looked amazing.
Overall, we’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. Just around the corner there’s even a little boat crossing that takes you over to the other side for only 7 baht, which is about 20p in UK money, perfect if you fancy a quick snack run to 7-Eleven.

The only small thing I’d mention is that, because the hotel is in such a wet riverside environment, built on stilts and made mostly from wood, there were a few visible signs of ageing here and there, along with some small cracks. Nothing major at all and it didn’t affect our stay in the slightest, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re expecting everything to feel brand new.
One thing worth knowing before you stay is that ordering takeaway through Grab can be a bit difficult in this area. Because the hotel is accessed by boat and the crossings stop later in the evening, we had multiple orders accepted by drivers only for them to be cancelled later on once they realised they couldn’t complete the delivery. It was a little frustrating after long days filming, so I’d recommend planning food a bit earlier or grabbing snacks in advance.
I’d also recommend bringing something like an Apple TV or Fire Stick if you stay here. I took my Apple TV with me and once plugged into the room’s TV we had all the entertainment we needed for relaxing in the evenings after filming.
