Santa Monica Seaview Resort (Shenzhen Jiaochangwei Beach)

First, the location is amazing. It's literally right next to Jiaochangwei Beach, like a two minute walk. I had a room with a terrace, and on that terrace there was a bathtub. They even gave me a bath bomb. So one night I ran a bubble bath, got in, and just watched the ocean. It was super relaxing, one of those little moments that makes a trip memorable. The resort itself isn't very big, but honestly that made it feel more cozy and personal. The room was clean, no complaints there. Breakfast was free, which is always nice, but it was actually pretty good too. Very healthy, lots of fresh stuff, but you can add pepper or chili if you want a bit more flavor. The staff really stood out. When I arrived, someone walked me all the way to my room with my two checked in luggages . Then I was checking out, they helped me call a local driver to move my suitcases from the resort down to the parking lot, so I could just get straight into my Didi back to the city. That saved me a lot of hassle. They also have partnerships with the local beach activity people. You just pay and they'll arrange everything for you. And I actually used their on site photographer. You do your own hair and makeup, show up dressed nicely, and they take professional photos and edit them for you. I got some really nice shots from my stay.

Honestly, I can't think of anything. Everything was solid.
