It was so clean and comfortable. The decoration was so minimalistic and beautiful. The hotel is located like a 15 min ride from hiriketiya beach so it was perfect for us. It's a quiet and romantic location with beautiful surroundings and views. The hosts were so sweet and provided us with a welcome drink and some souvenirs at the end of our stay. Don't even think about it and just book it, you won't regret it.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und bot einen Kühlschrank, ein großes gemütliches Bett und sogar einen offenen Kleiderschrank mit Kleiderbügeln, die sehr praktisch waren. Das Bad war sauber und die Dusche war auch super. Die Gastgeber hatten sogar einen Korb vorbereitet, mit Dingen, die man während dem Aufenthalt benötigen könnte - etwa noch einige Rollen Klopapier, einen Föhn oder Duschgel/Shampoo. Noch vor Anreise haben wir ein Insektennetz angefragt, das wir vom Host netterweise zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen haben - das war super! Wir waren eine Woche dort und uns wurde angeboten, dass sie das Zimmer zwischendurch einmal reinigen und wir frische Handtücher bekommen, was wir gerne angenommen haben. Das Vater-Sohn-Team war freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit, vor Abreise durften wir einen Wäscheständer ausborgen, um unsere Sachen noch zu trocknen und wir konnten sogar spät auschecken, da nach das Zimmer nach uns nicht belegt war. Der Sohn hat uns dann auch dabei geholfen, den richtigen Bus für unsere Weiterreise zu nehmen und als Abschied haben wir ein kleines Geschenk bekommen. Ein super schöner Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison!
Besonders wenn man gerne etwas abseits vom Trubel in Hiriketiya wohnt, bietet sich die Unterkunft direkt am Strand in Dickwella super an. Perfekte Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung - Talalla, Matara, Dondra, Hiriketiya, etc.

Super Lage direkt am Meer. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit westlichen Standards, unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

a very short walk to the nearest main road with transportation. The place is literally about 50 meters from a beautiful beach. I went during the off season, true, b ut the beaches were super clean and the water was nice and cold!. The property is very well maintained. plenty of pillows, plenty of towels. Extremely well designed and spacious bathroom. They even included a very nice hairdryer with a diffuser attachment!
The lighting was excellent in the room as well. you can have as little or as much light as you wish.
There is a pretty decent restaurant right next door, and plenty of food options just a short walk away.
Highly recommend Orca for anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, and delightful stay in Dickwella.
The staff/owners(i know not which) were super welcoming and accommodating. just ask them for what you need and they will do their best.
I was a little concerned about the parking situation under the coconut trees but it was never a problem so I cant complain. tis the beach after all!
