The home was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable enough for two people. It is a bit far from the bus stop/tube but I suspect that's normal (and it only seemed far when one was walking home uphill in the dark or in the rain or after a long day). The park next door is just lovely.
It seems strange that there wasn't a second set of keys. They did offer us the emergency set but we simply could not get the lockbox to work. (In fact, we wouldn't have been able to enter in the first place if the cab driver hadn't helped us.) The home was full of scented products. It made it hard for me to breathe comfortably and it took me a long while to track all the evil things down. Even so, the scent made me gag when returning if we forgot to open the windows. There was only one facecloth for two people, and the pillows were minimalist. Information on how to use the various devices would have been helpful to those of us from other places (washer/dryer, microwave, heater). Fortunately there were manuals for some things, which was great.

Having lived in Hendon for most of my life I was truly surprised to discover this hidden gem. It is right next to all the major roads and backs onto a park which is a definite plus.
