The host is an amazing woman who will truly does open up her home for those who are away from home. They'll make you feel like you are home yourself. This comes from the bottom of my heart to say, this became one of top 5 best places I've ever stayed in while traveling (and I've traveled quite a lot). Treat her house nicely just like its your home and she will make sure that you are taken care of nicely. She won't put up with any BS so treat her nicely. I'n even thinking of booking her other property when I'm in Manila just to show support
Honestly, the location - as a solo traveling man, I can see the location can seem a little scary at night for a woman. But other than that, I've learned that the neighbors are friendly and so is the rest of the street. Just seems daunting the first time, but you'll realize that its just a quaint neighborhood.
