Loved the place and the city is amazing

The location can not be beat

It is a small space but it served the four of us perfectly. Coffee and hot water were provided but no actual cups. Only small disposable plates plastic cups. When asked, we received a box of expresso cups. Mugs would have been handy and not so messy

8 / 10

Good stay close to sassi

Great location just outside the sassi with good facilities including washing machine and dryer

The rooms could be laid out a little better as the dryer could not actually be plugged in to a power outlet without moving the whole machine. Could be decorated to be a little more welcoming and some lights that needed battery power were dead and not able to be used

9 / 10

Great place in a great spot of Matera, would recommend

Great stay, for one night in our case, clear check-in instructions and some nice additions from the owners with welcome and breakfast snacks

Nothing serious, maybe just the tiny stairs to the upper bedroom that can be annoying if you’re tall

8 / 10

Practical stay

Location and comfortable beds and helpful staff

To get room access key code you are forced to pay the city tax through a third on line agent from London who requires access to your phone data. You also have to send him copy of your documents, phone number and email and agree for them to send you marketing proposals. Totally unacceptable. They should install blackout curtains .
