Das Zimmer mit Badezimmer war schön eingerichtet, komfortabel und sauber - genau richtig für ein verlängertes Pärchen-Wochenende in der Stadt. Das Apartment ist gut gelegen und befindet sich direkt beim Eingang zur Innenstadt und in der Nähe zu vielfältigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Wir hatten Probleme beim Check-In, denen sich leider nur halbherzig angenommen wurde und in deren Folge wir erst mit einer Verspätung von 4 Stunden (!) unser gebuchtes Zimmer beziehen konnten. Die Anleitung zum Self-Check-In war detailiert und hilfreich - wir haben den Weg zum Apartment problemlos gefunden - und auch der vorherige online-check-In war reibungslos möglich. Bei der Unterkunft angekommen funktionierte jedoch der Code zum Öffnen der Tür nicht. Wir versuchten es mehrmals ohne Erfolg. Schlussendlich riefen wir die Kontaktperson an und erbaten Hilfe, die sehr dürftig ausfiel. Uns wurde zwar schnell geantwortet, jedoch nicht geglaubt - es hätte ein paar Stunden vorher geklappt, die Putzkräfte wären ohne Probleme mit dem Code ins Apartment gekommen. Es wurden keinerlei Anstalten gemacht, das Problem auf der Stelle zu lösen, indem jemand kommen und die Tür manuell aufschließen würde. Stattdessen wurde unsere Lösung damit abgetan, dass sich die Tür nicht manuell, nur elektrisch mit besagtem Code, öffnen lasse ?! 4 Stunden und vielen What's-app-Nachrichten später, darunter ein gewünschtes Video !!, das zeigt, dass die Tür wirklich nicht zu öffnen ist, kam letztendlich jemand mit dem Schlüssel. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von der Art und Weise wie mit unserem, wohlgemerkt nicht selbst-verschuldeten Problem umgegangen wurde. Unser Trip startete dadurch mit Stress, auch da wir genau zur Hitzewelle anreisten und die Belastung dadurch recht groß war. Leider wurde uns vonseiten der Unterkunft keine Kompensation für unsere Unannehmlichkeiten angeboten. Als wir höflich nachfragten, wurde uns ein später check-out vorgeschlagen, mit dem wir jedoch nichts anfangen konnten, da unser Flug zurück bereits um 6 Uhr frühs startete. Als wir dies rückmeldeten, kam nichts mehr zurück.
Eine weitere kleine Anmerkung: der Aufzug im Gebäude funktioniert nicht.

Very disappointing and misleading experience
Unfortunately, this was by far one of our most disappointing stays, mainly because of the host’s communication and the misleading information provided before and during our stay.
We have a special diet and therefore needed to prepare our own meals. Before booking, I specifically asked the host whether there was a stove or oven, as this was not visible in the photos. I was told there was an electric hob. Upon arrival, there was no hob at all, and in fact there wasn’t even basic kitchen equipment: no chopping board, no proper knife, no pots, no pans, etc. When I contacted the host, the explanation was simply that they had made a mistake. An unfortunate “mistake” when someone specifically asks about something that is essential for their stay.
I would also strongly advise future guests to read the listing very carefully. Calling this an “apartment” is, in our opinion, rather generous. The kitchen is actually shared with another apartment, which was not clear from the main description and gave us a completely different impression when booking.
Then there was the air conditioning. It could not be controlled from inside because there was no remote, and the main unit was outside. in fact, temperature could not be adjusted at all. It was incredibly loud throughout the night, producing a constant industrial sound. Not exactly the relaxing atmosphere one hopes for when going to bed.
And finally, the listing advertised 95 Slovak and Czech TV channels. Guess how many we found? Zero. When we pointed this out, the host simply replied that this information was not true- and then stopped communicating altogether.
Mistakes happen, of course. But when there are this many inaccuracies in the listing, especially after asking specific questions in advance, it becomes very difficult not to feel misled.
Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.
