A very nice, modern aparthotel with excellent room quality and a surprisingly spacious, comfortable interior. Everything looks brand new, thoughtfully designed and finished to a very high standard. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the attention to detail is impressive. Cleanliness was exceptional — even under the beds, there was no dust at all.
We stayed as a family of three, and the room felt spacious and comfortable, especially compared with some of the more compact hotels in Tokyo.
Transport connections are also very convenient. Ueno is a useful base for exploring Tokyo, with good access to trains and local buses. We particularly enjoyed using the buses, which turned out to be a pleasant way to experience a different side of the city.
Overall, the quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations.
The main downside for us was the surrounding neighbourhood. Having previously stayed in Nihonbashi and Ginza, we found this area noticeably less appealing. The streets were rather noisy and dark, and felt a little rough around the edges, particularly in the evenings. However, the room itself was quiet, and we had no issues with noise inside the hotel.
We also couldn't find a particularly good 7-Eleven nearby, although there is a good FamilyMart conveniently located across the street.
There is no cooking hob (although we didn't need one), but the room has a large fridge, a microwave, and good-quality dishes and utensils. This made it convenient to enjoy meals in the room, even though the facilities aren't suitable for preparing full meals from scratch.
Despite these drawbacks, I would definitely consider staying here again because of the excellent accommodation quality, convenient transport connections and good value for money.

"The location was very conveniently located nearby the Ueno station, but also in short walking distance to many restaurants. We wish we had known earlier that there was an escalator from/to Ueno statio..."
