Love the facilities and cleanliness.
Although it's near the station, it's about 30 to 40min ride to the usual shopping spots. But it's ok for us, nothing too major

Very nice hotel with a good location central to many sites by short taxi rides. The room was great for a family with good space and kitchenette. The washer/dryer combo came in handy in the unit so we could do laundry when settling in for the night. Great hotel for base during a family site seeing trip.
The hotel location is central but the immediate area is more of a big city feel. Not as many choices of restaurant or shopping as our other hotels.

great location next to tawaramachi station. the room was huge and had bunk beds for the kids. having a washer was amazing and they provide laundry detergent. the free water filling station and coffee in the reception area were great. we were able to make some ramen that we made in the room on the stove and had all the necessary pots and bowls needed.
there was no clothing rack to dry clothes on just lots of hangers so we had to hang things around the room to dry. asakusa is a little far from everything other than sensoji temple but it was worth the money savings

Close to subway station and comfortable with nice view. Staff is generally helpful and pleasant.
Forgot passport and money in safe and was already in Kyoto when I found out. Person on the phone did not want to send it over to my hotel even if I ask to send them over on my dime so I had to go back and pick them up wasting valuable time and energy
