Asakusa View Hotel

Avoid the 11th floor until it has been renovated. 10th floor room was recently renovated and beautiful, spacious bathroom, convenient 4 person twin beds with fluffy comforters and great view. Mattresses were extremely firm in the rooms we stayed in, and not for those with a bad back. We enjoyed our stay because of the super staff that helped us relocate to the 10th floor after we couldn't sleep on the 11th floor beds. Superb staff always smiling, getting the elevator and the door for you, a supreme example of what great hospitality looks like, but the lobby is empty late at night. There are several restaurants in the hotel including a bakery. The view of the Skytree was beautiful. Hotel is next door to metro and LIFE grocery and convenience store & pharmacy with tax free option. We went there every day for food and supplies- great prices. There is a 711 located diagonally across the street for 24 hr day beverages and snacks, and several bars and restaurants. Convenient less than 10 minute walk to Asakusa shopping streets and food stalls, and 15 minute walk to train station and the temple and shrine. I liked how it was less crowded on the streets around this hotel. I saw a limousine bus you can take to and from the airport for a reasonable fee which beats taking your luggage on the train and a taxi from Asakusa station. We used the vending machine, coin laundry and microwave on the 6th floor at least once during our stay.

The staff at asakusa view are so welcoming and helpful! The facility is very modern and clean. And you absolutely can’t beat the location. Walking distance to senso-ji, kappabashi street, the station and so many other great places in asakusa. The airport limousine bus also stops at this hotel making it even more desirable.

Classy hotel for competitive price. Shuttle directly from hotel to NRT very convenient and low cost. Maybe the hotel can enhance their communication by notifying customers in advance of the shuttle service before arrival and/or asking the customer if they need a ride to airport on checkout day.
